The music community from the north-east has long been at home between Berlin and Leipzig, although that is only true locally, because COOGANS BLUFF are really at home in a time when flared pants were hot shit, long hair and tight shirts were "in" and rock music had just lost her virginity.

No retro boom, no authenticity. COOGANS BLUFF have been part of this scene for years, have found their place and earned their fans. Choirs, mellotron, polyphonic brass sections, hook lines, finest guitar riffs. The band takes their time and tries things out. The solo becomes a team sport. COOGANS BLUFF certainly surf the hip retro wave, but they were there before and the wave surprised them from behind. They offer the genre an intensive and detailed variant that has not been on the screen before and remain recognizable and, above all, their own.
