BLACK LUNG. Multi-instrumentalist Dave Cavalier is her collaborator here and became an influential and leading influence on the songs. He gives BLACK LUNG its own character with his voice and his playing. Two guitars, tuned down and heavy like the meters of snow on the roof. A bass is unnecessary here. It grooves, rolls and songs emerge that oscillate between the raw blues rock of the Black Keys and the venerable riffs of Sleep. Dark and yet with a touch of pop and majestically sublime.
