The trio from Baltimore was initially introduced as a side project of The Flying Eyes, the three have not only floated free in sound and style, but have become a highlight of the scene with their distinctive style. On Noisolution it´s their third album - and let's not forget the terrific limited split 12" with NAP.

VISIONS magazine attests the sound a "NICK CAVE atmosphere and black, melancholic soul in the style of THE AFGHAN WHIGS" and hits the mark. BLACK LUNG are dark and yet their songs have a certain touch of pop. Majestically sublime, full of soul, full of desperation and greatness. CLASSIC ROCK Magazine raved that "BLACK LUNG create an evocative soundscape virtually out of nowhere, where all the ingredients work together miraculously to create a maelstrom that combines stoner rock, grunge and doom, but doesn't let any of the three take precedence."
By the way, the new album "Ancients" was again produced by JAWBOX frontman J.Robbins, who once again took up the bass and gives the sound even more depth, makes it more transparent and versatile.
