The two Dortmund natives have been together since 2018 and have three albums and hundreds of shows under their belts.
The Two-Men-Army from Dortmund are friends, which explains the positive energy and atmosphere of their live shows. DIY at its best, because four hands seem to be enough for artwork, sound, recording, mixing or videos. Duos have long since ceased to be a specialty in alternative rock, but the  similarity with the White Stripes, Black Keys or Picturebooks of this world can be safely neglected here.

THE PIGHOUNDS feel more like four drummers and eight guitarists. They are more punk and grunge than blues and rock. Musically, THE PIGHOUNDS don’t reinvent anything, but they do everything well and better. Music that is full of passion and conviction, gripping, rousing and catchy. Music that makes you move, headbang, sing along and dance! – and nothing sounds “retro”, even though the two have paid close attention to music history. Everything is polished up, rebuilt and reassembled in a contemporary and fresh way. Nothing seems artificial here and the moment is captured, from the gut, full of energy and anger. Music with the right attitude and charisma and a double pack of charm that makes everything sparkle!
