Rotor

Albums

ROTOR play to their strengths. They groove endlessly, play together and complement each other perfectly. They have their own unmistakable sound, make heavy stoner sounds seem weightless at their sweat-inducing concerts and make headbangers escalate in a communal way, as is usually the case with herbaceous techno tribals. There is definitely Krautrock in there and – who knows – maybe some other herb.
Over time, ROTOR has taken on more space, is more transparent and lighter in sound, almost relaxed, until the moment when the groove machine kicks in. The band has grown and since Martin Fischer joined on second guitar ten years ago, everything has become more playful, perfectly coordinated with a great deal of finesse and it certainly takes time to discover it all.
