“Kids” is the debut acoustic solo album by Andrej Dietrich, alias AKa Rinde, also known as one half of the noiserock duo DYSE. AKa Rinde is solo, is DIY and is punk, even if you wouldn’t believe the acoustic guitar when it sneaks up on you fingerpicking and suddenly gets loud. AKaRinde ignores style boundaries and plays “genre lego” in a class of its own. It’s a nightmare for Spotify algorithms, which collapse with a fever, are driven mad and quit their job. Free spirit reigns here, a complete blind flight through styles and emotions.

As soon as you have a comparison in your ear, the direction of travel changes and yet everything belongs together and results in a homogeneous album that is flattering and catchy, but has so many corners and curves, stop’n’go’s, that you should simply enjoy it.

Andrej Dietrich recorded, produced and mixed his debut “Kids” more or less alone during the DYSE Tour 24/25, composed a theater music project on the side, booked a tour himself at the same time, shot a video and you wonder when all this is possible…
