ROTOR are ROTOR. Unconventional, headstrong and different. A band that seemingly goes against all rock clichés, knowingly ignores them and has reached its own end level. They stand for filigree instrumental rock. Heavy, heavy, grooving, but at the same time light, elegant, floating and always rhythmically intricate. Even if it seems live as if the band has climbed the stage and taken the instruments rather by chance during an “open stage” session, chatting sheepishly away from the audience, waiting relaxedly until the butts are squeezed out and the toggle switches are flipped… once the monster is let loose, a surging sea of head-nodders emerges.
