“I had an imaginary horse when I was a kid,” Fynn remembers. “It was called Pon Pon, and it was with me all the time. It was my companion. It was so crazy that I had to write a song about it.”

THE PICTUREBOOKS are back! After a break of 3 years, during which you hardly heard anything from them. The band retreated to their garage and closed the doors. The new passion, Kustom Bikes, or the old one, skateboarding, were the only signs to the outside world that the band was still going strong. Everything was questioned. Songwriting, sound and studio work were taken apart, modified and reassembled. Fundamental changes were made. The move to a duo is only representative of this process. Superfluous aspects of the sound were thrown overboard and slimmed down. Similar to the process of creating a custom bike, a unique style was developed.
