New Release: To coincide with their tour starting late January 2025, Spiral Drive is releasing a 7-inch single featuring a cover of The Beatles’ “Tomorrow Never Knows.” The B-side will only be available in physical format. Fun fact: the single’s artwork is based on a sketch by Klaus Voormann, originally intended for The Beatles’ Revolver album.
Music and Style: The band, known for blending psychedelic rock, alternative rock, psych-pop, grunge, and indie rock, gained acclaim with their second studio album Visions In Bloom and the hit track “Space Train.” They are often compared to Tame Impala, Nirvana, Queens of the Stone Age, MGMT, and Pink Floyd, yet maintain a distinct and hard-to-categorize sound.
Collaborations: Frontman Raphaël Neikes has worked with notable musicians like Ben McLeod (All Them Witches) and Lord Fascinator (Children Collide), further solidifying their reputation in the Neo-Psych rock scene.
Global Appeal: After touring Europe and South Africa, their 2024 festival season peaked with a legendary performance at Harmonie Bonn, recorded by WDR/Rockpalast.
2025 Green Vanilla Tour: They will kick off their Green Vanilla Tour across Germany and Austria in January/February 2025. Tickets are available on their official website.
