ROTOSKOP, the electronic weirdo from Essen, is restlessly searching for input, without fear of contact and open to exchange. A wanderer between worlds. Inspired by the rhythmic experiments of well-known electronic acts such as Squarepusher, Aphex Twin, Mouse on Mars, Schneider TM, Richie Hawtin or Massive Attack, as well as by the alternative section with acts such as Nine Inch Nails, Neubauten, Joy Division, Depeche Mode or Cave.

An oppressive mosaic of sounds, samples and noises is laid over nervous beats that are rarely straight, often dragged out and always organic and rough. Headz attitude with an alternative background. Digital sounds, analog instruments and human voices combine to create an impressive body of work. The basic mood is mostly gloomy, but always with a view to the light at the end of the tunnel.
